I was strongly inspirited by Jenny Saville and Nielly Francoise in producing this painting. The silhouettes are drawings I created from Jenny Saville’s artwork. The use of colour in this painting is influenced from the colours that Nielly Francoise uses in her art. I wanted to experiment with gouache and pro markers in order to create an abstract contrast between the two mediums. The silhouettes overlap each other to create a metaphysical image.
